ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT
Wise Diamonds, Inc. accepts same-day bank wires, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover), and Bitcoin. Wise Diamonds does not accept automated clearing house (ACH) or e-check, personal checks, certified bank checks, or cashier’s checks (even checks mailed directly from a customer’s bank). In the case of bank wire, all payment fees are the responsibility of the customer. For in-person sales at our Jaipur location cash is also accepted. Wise Diamonds uses three different online payment systems including Stripe, Square, and Intuit.
Some transactions may require same-day bank wire as the only form of payment. You may be asked to provide government-issued photo identification at the time of payment. International clients may be required to show a copy of their passport in compliance with FEMA Act. Wise Diamonds, Inc. reserves the right to reject a transaction for any reason, including but not limited to fraud risk, insufficient funds, or suspicious activity.
NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS
In order to reserve a lab diamond, or begin the custom design process, a fully transferable, non-refundable deposit is required. Should you change your mind, the non-refundable deposit may be applied towards another diamond or piece of fine jewelry. This deposit is designed to show your seriousness towards completing a custom piece of fine jewelry with Wise Diamonds, and is also designed to discourage placing deposits on multiple diamonds at multiple retailers. Should you not be satisfied with your purchase, your non-refundable deposit may be fully refunded through our 30-day return policy on a finished piece of jewelry. Prior to the start of creating a bespoke piece, you will receive a cost estimate for the entire piece(s) of jewelry, which will require your signed approval.
Subsequent to placing a deposit on either a diamond or a piece of jewelry, your piece of jewelry must enter production or the remaining balance on the diamond be fully paid within 60 calendar days. In other words, it is not possible to place a deposit on a diamond and then wait several months to pay off the remaining balance of the diamond or jewelry. Wise Diamonds does not offer layaway
GRACE PERIOD ON DEPOSITS
Within 24 hours of placing a deposit on an in-stock or commissioned lab grown diamond, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund. After 24 hours, deposits are subject to the aforementioned refund policy.
MEMO POLICY
Wise Diamonds purchases diamonds from major growers around the world, and our Diamond Concierges inspect each stone for quality prior to selling to a client. A concierge may need to bring in a diamond on memorandum for a specific client. While we aim to offer this as a complimentary service, Wise Diamonds may require a transferable, but non-refundable memo fee to bring in multiple stones for a single client request. Wise Diamonds will notify the client of this memo fee in writing prior to any transaction commencing. Memo periods can be limited to as little as 24 hours. Wise Diamonds cannot guarantee reservations of a stone without a 20% deposit.
MINIMUMS
Due to the heavily bespoke nature of our pieces that are fabricated and hand-set in the India, Wise Diamonds kindly asks our clients to respect the following jewelry order minimums:
- Bespoke engagement rings: $5,000 USD
- Non-customizable solitaire engagement rings: $3,500 USD
- Made to order fashion jewelry from our collections: $1,250 USD
- Fully custom fashion jewelry: $2,500 USD
- Collections’ wedding bands: $1,500 USD
- Fully custom wedding band: $2,500 USD
- Polydiamond wedding bands: $1,500 USD
- Loose lab diamonds: A minimum of 0.70ct each
Our all metal wedding bands, Ready to Ship items, and items from The Classics Collection carry no order minimum.
COMMISSIONED DIAMONDS
Due to circumstances and complications related to COVID-19, the signature Lavoisier process and all custom commissioned diamond services have been suspended indefinitely.
FULL PAYMENT
Shipments of loose diamonds, Ready to Ship items (including the Delicate and Classics Collection), and Strong Collection rings require full payment upon placing an order.
Prior to the shipment or delivery of a completed bespoke piece of jewelry, full payment on the remaining balance of an invoice is required. You have 30 days from production completion to pay your final invoice; however your piece of fine jewelry will not ship until the final invoice has been paid. Failure to pay for the finished piece of jewelry within 30 days of production completion may result in forfeiture of the deposit and cancellation of the order. Wise’s 30-day return policy commences on the day of shipment to the customer (or date of pick up for local clients).
CURRENCY
All prices quoted through the concierge process, on Wise Diamonds’ website, are in USD unless otherwise noted. Wise Diamonds is not responsible for changes in foreign exchange rates and will only quote and charge clients in USD.
TAX
All purchases delivered in, picked up, or shipped will incur the 3% goods and service tax. Please consult with your Diamond Concierge for additional information.
CARAT WEIGHT MEASUREMENTS
All carat weights displayed in Wise’s collection pieces are approximate and may vary slightly from the finished piece. Notably, carat total weights for wedding bands may vary based on ring size and the exact weight of diamonds used. Your Concierge will provide an estimate, to the best of our ability, of the final carat weight of a piece of jewelry prior to payment.
